I offer an array of services related to adoption. My goal is to use my experience and education to help you have a successful and happy adoptive family. I also know that parents need to feel understood, whatever their concerns about their adoption issue. I want everyone who needs help to receive the right kind of help.

Although I have experienced and studied adoption issues, as a therapist I consider you the expert on both you and your child. Counseling is about working together. I help supply the information and education about adoption issues; you supply the knowledge of your family. Together we will form an adoption plan to fit your unique needs.

Special Services:

I know when I first adopted it was often difficult to get to a therapist’s office so I have created services which can assist you in getting the help you need.

• Home visits – I am available to come to your home to assess your child or hold counseling sessions with you.
• Work visits – I can meet with you or you and your spouse at your place of work.
• Phone counseling – We can do counseling sessions on the phone (once I know your situation well enough to ensure that this is the best form of help for you). We can also conference call spouses in on the sessions.
• Discounts to families starting counseling within the first 6 months of adoption.
